Well, some, like Doom Eternal, don't allow you to transfer your save, which is a real PitA.

Empty boxes (like in GoW: Ragnarok Collector’s Edition) are bad enough, do we really need to have empty discs as well?

“[...]the company naturally asserts ownership of all its 2,161 hues, defending its intellectual property and preventing its unlicensed use. This extends as far as preventing others from creating “Pantone-compatible” color systems.”

“Today’s model is clearly an extension of that early rendering, and finally brings the VR platform past the likes of Fire Emblem: Awakening on the Nintendo 3DS, another game that lacked legs.”

Better known as sociopathy.

“Those were considered scalping prices less than a year ago.”

Himself AND the companies who’s content he leaked. They're probably going to need to redo their entire marketing plans for those titles, which isn't going to be cheap.

Nah, just dumb. And probably now unemployed. At the very least, his career as an “influencer” is most likely over.

I vomited in my mouth a little at that thought.

And here I thought I was the only one. It's one thing if it's an FPS and you're a professional gamer, but for me, unless I'm doing an A/B comparison, it all looks the same to me.

... It's 'script kiddy'. No felines involved.

Ghost of Tsushima wasn’t during the Sengoku period, though. Sekiro technically was, but it could really have fit into anywhere from 1200AD forward, since it played entirely in a separate fictional region. Nioh and Nioh 2 were both at the tale end of the Sengoku period, but heavily fantasized.

“I am getting tired of people being outraged about things for other people or groups.”

Pokemon Go still exists?

Should just be subscription-based, like an MMO, with annual roster updates. Every two years maybe a graphics/gameplay update.

I was cleaning up my mom’s pantry a couple years back while visiting, and found some old cans and some cake mix that was from Germany. We moved away from Germany when I was 16, in 2001. I’m 37 now. That stuff moved with us to the US, and then two moves around DC, then to Arizona when they retired.

They really should have given it a new name. I keep seeing headlines about "PS Plus" content that neither I, nor most, PS Plus subscribers can actually use. Microsoft was right to make it two separate things.

Well, up until now, Mojang has been allowed to pretty much do their own thing without overt intervention from corporate. That seemingly changed. Not really weird for people to get angry.

I think people just want to do their own thing in private, which is really only their business. That’s the whole point behind a private server. They are the administrators of their server, and they make the rules. It’s not like they’re doing it in public.

Well yeah - but it’s a private server. This is like putting a mic in everyone’s home to catch harassment. Yes, it’ll catch some bad folks, but the price is everyone gets to live in a police state. And you just know someone is going to report you every time you have sex.
