Better face than Phelps? Well, yeesh, that's not saying much, is it?

It's like you read my mind. This is my dream scenario for season 5 onwards.
This is a damn good post. It didn't even occur to me to consider race as an obstacle here for Kalinda. As a woman of colour myself, I'm ashamed I missed this.
I don't get this hate-on for Kalinda. She's being greedy? She just wants to be treated fairly, and she has the right to be pissed off that a newly hired detective of five weeks has benefits while she doesn't, and as she said, she's been at LG for five freaking years.
I could've sworn that I read an interview during season 1 where Neil Jordan said the show wouldn't be going the incest route. Obviously he changed his mind. I wonder if fan demand had anything to do with it.
I was… uncomfortably turned on by that incestuous bedroom scene. Jesus H. Christ, the chemistry between Cesare and Lucrezia was off the charts. And as someone who's seen a leaked copy of Episode 3, it only gets better (or worse, depending on your perspective) from there.
They're clearly positioning Rufio to be a Sforza-sponsored rival to Micheletto, but goddamn, with that ridiculous wig I can't take him seriously at all. It's actually incredibly distracting. It's all I can see when he's on screen.
@avclub-83e1fbae2343f8479668ac365eb99c3a:disqus That's what I meant, I should've been more clear. Of course rape has always been a problem, but I meant that the publicizing of such crimes via the Internet and social media, both by bragging rapists and Anonymous-style vigilantes, is becoming more widespread.
Steubenville's the likely culprit, but there are a bunch of similar cases this ep could have been based off of. These kinds of crimes are becoming way too common.
Yeah, as soon as Cary confirmed he was leaving, I started wondering if Alicia would go with him, if only to get away from Will and somehow salvage her marriage. They've been laying on the awkward tension between Will and Alicia pretty thick.
Yeah, there's an uncomfortably similar case making headlines in Canada right now. A teen girl was allegedly raped, had a photo of said rape spread via text, was bullied and slut-shamed by her classmates, and eventually committed suicide this month. She was at the forefront of my mind while I was watching this episode.
