Agreed, one look at that wheel and shifter and I have no interest in other “modifications” that were made, nor learning about what abuse this poor car has been through.

We had an 08 that was an absolute blast to drive. We had zero issues with it. We heard many other people who had, and others who had not had problems. The mini factory seemed to be a bowl of lemons and oranges. We got an orange.

Trust me. They aren’t reliable. Friend of mine’s Ex had one. Same year, same color. It was in the shop constantly.

Normally I’d be all over a low mileage little wagon with a stick and 170 HP for little more than nice beater $$$$. Mini’s rep for unreliability and high running costs (whether it’s true or not, the perception is there) kills it for me.

Nope Nope Nope Nope. These are such a dichotomy. Cute looking cars..... GOD AWFUL drivetrains and engines. These are some of the most un-reliable cars on the market.

Please just don’t make them louder. Considerations for people that are not in sound dampened cars need to be made. They’re already extremely loud to a pedestrian with no sound protection.

We need the sound isolation to silence the straight piped harleys. TBH, this is a problem of the goverment’s own making by refusing to enforce sound dbl limits. I don’t want to here the village people or a ricer with a fart can or the big rig without mufflers.

Really?? American emergency vehicles are INSANELY loud compared to any other country in the world... I don’t see the cars being an issue. Maybe the modern sound system at full blast in said car is more of a problem lol

The weird part is that they have that shitty rear visibility even though most of them have all three mirrors pointed directly to the rear instead of properly adjusting the side mirrors to the side of the vehicle. If I’m behind you and I can see your eyes more than once, you’re doing it wrong.

I don’t care about miles, per se. I care about *time*. I don’t drive that much, but I do keep cars I like a long time. Batteries seem to degrade over time even if you don’t use them at all.
