My 2002 Olds Intrigue, almost identical to this one.

Quick poll: have any of the multitude of ‘new, improved’ logos over the past couple of decades actually been ‘improved’? All of the ones I can think of are demonstrably worse than their prior logo. Ok, maybe Mazda? Yeah that flying M is much better than the stylized ‘rotor’...but I can’t think of any others. And the

The industry should end chrome-plated plastic forever. Chromium has its place as an alloy in steel, but not as decoration. The process to get it to stick to plastic or anything else is full of unnecessarily risky environmental problems.

If Honda still sold the Fit, I’d drive one. Would meet my std day-to-day needs quite nicely. As it is, I have a Civic sedan - so not too much bigger.

I am your stereotypical divorced father in their 40's enjoying the apartment life. So, Mini Cooper? Smart Car? CangLi EV? Ha! Gargantuan. I might as well get a Hummer EV at that point. I have no need of big box stores, Home Depot, or carting people about anymore.

I’ll through my daily in there. Modded to stage 3, pushing ~400hp

600+ HP AWD lots of room, invisible to radar due to the “Mom Aura”

My privileged existence does not allow me to look past its grille.

No, it won’t

I think you’re making a lot of assumptions around how critical 3rd row seating and cargo space is for a LOT of families in the US. You’re so fixated on the “OMG it’s so much better than the MX” narrative that you dismiss out of hand and diminish (and based on nothing more than anecdotal gut feeling) the importance of

Is “so good” slang for “hideous” now?

Well, then I have no intention of changing my decision to never buy a new BMW.
