Conventional wisdom is that one should buy Sonic Generations on PC then get the mod that adds the Sonic Unleashed daytime levels to it.

I'm thrilled at the raves this game has received across the board. I imagine the teams who've made other Sonic games the last 20 years must feel a bit sheep-ish being outdone by essentially a fan project (not to disparage either team).

I still maintain Sonic Rush is every bit as good as the original Genesis games. Its soundtrack is catchy as hell, it has a fun trick/boost system, the boss fights are generally fun and inventive, and it's story portions are pretty brief (most of it is text and you can get through pretty quickly).

The absence of Mega Man and Bass is downright criminal. Capcom should give us a translated emulation of the SNES version
