That's like The Graduate, where Anne Bancroft plays a much older woman despite only being 6 years older than Dustin Hoffman

I was actually underwhelmed by Mega Man 4 on my most recent playthrough. The Robot masters are good enough, but the Dr Wily/Cossack levels felt very rushed. Even the final boss was a let down, going down without me even using an energy tank.

The game definitely has some annoying difficulty spikes. I never learned exactly how the final fight with Seymour worked, I just used a guide.

I'm not sure if I have a top ten, but I loved Super Mario Galaxy 2 (probably my favorite game of all time), Super Mario Galaxy, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Metroid Prime 3, Donkey Kong Country Returns (BS waggle be damned), Kirby: Return to Dreamland, and Wario Ware.

Started a playthrough of Final Fantasy X HD. Man, I knew the voice acting wasn't the greatest, but watching Tidus and Yuna have their meet-cute is painful sometimes. The motion capture technology and writing wasn't up to the task. But what FFX excels at is creating an engrossing world. The fear and sorrow of the

Maybe not 60 million people, but this guy definitely contributed to a fact-free political discourse that might've led to thousands of people changing their vote or not voting at all.

Final Fantasy X HD. Just got past the horrible laughing scene. I'm contemplating whether I want to go all-in on blitzball, the only reason I can see why is for Wakka's celestial weapon. And the only the reason why I'd want Wakka's celestial weapon is because I'm trying to platinum the game. And earning that platinum

In Super Mario 64, Mario's drowning animation was one of the most graphic things I've seen in a 'kiddy' game. He clutches his throat and twitches before going limp. Dying in quicksand was also horrifying, the camera would zoom in on Mario's eyes right before the sand enveloped him.

PS4. I am grateful for the frequent autosaves.

The turnout for Mario Kart on the 8th was really impressive. It's my third or fourth one and it had the most people I've ever seen. I was near the top of the field when I decided to sign off. I always pick someone with a high top speed (in this case Roy), powerslide as often as possible, and take the best route

I started playing through Fez and was immediately struck by how pretty it is. The footage I've seen really didn't do the game justice. An hour into the game it suddenly froze, so that wasn't fun. I'll come back to it later today.

Parks and Recreation was my first thought too. Out of all the shows I love it's easily the most hopeful. Leslie never ran from a challenge no matter how difficult it was. Jerry, the shows punching bag, lives a happy fulfilling life arguably moreso than any other character. Even when the town treated them like shit

Listening to Dan talk about the election on my commute today just made me sick to my stomach.

Fuck Pat McCrory (little shit is projected to lose, waiting on provisional ballots to be counted), fuck Trump, fuck Pence, fuck everything

I've been mixing Lemon Stoli with Sugar Free Strawberry Lemonade. I like it because it's low-cal and I don't feel bloated drinking it (like when I mix vodka and soda)

Letterman constantly made jokes about her looks. Even at the time I thought it was mean and unnecessary. I was impressed that she appeared on SNL, made me feel better about the constant cheap shots.

Trump has done more than "say some despicable shit", the government sued him for discriminating against black people who were seeking housing. Reportedly black employees couldn't be on the floor when he walked through the door of one of his casinos. I'm not going to argue that Clinton hasn't done some horrible stuff,

As a gay black man I fucking hate this notion that the advancement of LGBT rights is some zero-sum game that prevents us from addressing systemic racism. Usually the people complaining about this don't actually give a fuck about gay people (or outright oppose gay rights), but instead of saying that they complain about

Oh the timing for the little dust balls is tricky. You have to hit the button when they're stretching themselves out right before let go. I never could nail it consistently.
