CSM is also one of American academia’s best kept secrets. It has (IMHO) the highest ratio of actual academic and research excellence to national reputation of any institution I’ve ever had anything to do with.

It’s an interesting school too, being they only have engineering majors. Obviously it’s part of why Stitt was seen as such a great coach, it ain’t a school where he can recruit to much, and they were unsurprisingly awful before he got there.

I stood in the end zone with some locals at a Mines game 3 years ago. What a fucking great time!! Town’s great, team WAS good, people where real. Go to Golden in the fall. See ya in Liberty, MO 9/12 you fucking Orediggers

Blaster is freakin’ awesome. I attended a Mines game the weekend of my brother’s wedding (my cousin-in-law used to be one of Stitt’s assistants). Saw the live Blaster and got a real kick out of the environment, everyone should go to Golden for a game sometime in their life.

As a Mines alum (Go Orediggers!), I can’t tell you how old explaining this gets....
