Idiots is a little harsh. I think all those guesses were based on assuming he would be getting the best talent/the people he seemed to have the tightest relationship with. Those four are a little more from the B squad.

Is Klosterman even a thing over there anymore. Points for being the first to mention Morris though. That one’s almost as big a lock as Barnwell.
Goddammit! This asshole went and blew one of the best things we atheists had going for us - that we weren’t the ones killing people. Now whenever we point out how much more violent and destructive believers are than non-believers this guy is going to get brought up. Way to give up the high ground, jerk.
Totally. Who wouldn’t? I made my comment before Blake’s statement was added stating that the cop never identified himself. I’m not a big fan of that way of doing things. Of course, I don’t know what police protocol is when making an arrest out in the open where the possibility of flight and public endangerment is a…
Okay, in my infinite patience and generosity, I will spell out for you what you are missing - and also allow you, that after all is made clear, we may still disagree. I am not calling the action of forcing a man to the ground “minimally violent.” That would be absurd. There are many things less violent than that.
Jesus, not just you but everybody - READ BETTER.
I said it was excessive. I disagree with the officers decision to subdue Blake to get the cuffs on. That said, it seems pretty minimally violent. He did the wrong thing the right way. I’m not endorsing any of this. My only point is that the early descriptions sound a little sensationalized after seeing the video.
Yeah, this way less violent than I’d been led to believe it would be. Still excessive, but a pretty reasonable, controlled takedown rather than the running tackle I was expecting to see.
The city’s gigabit internet wasn’t cheap at first. After all, it cost a whopping $330 million to build Chattanooga’s smart grid—$111 million of which came from federal stimulus funds.
I’m kind of hoping gays from surrounding areas (like maybe a 300 mile radius) are going out of their way to get their licenses at her office. If they aren’t, can we make that happen?
Wait, has she seen Rocky III?
What furthest corners? You mean where only the poorest and/or most violent/ill-adjusted want anything to do with it? How does that fix anything?
As a dad about to take my 3-year old on a modest two-mile hike tomorrow, this was timely and enjoyable. Thanks.
Maybe because in most contexts carrying a gun is aberrant, irrational, paranoid behavior?
On the animal sacrifice question: you forgot about how EVERY OTHER TEAM would immediately start doing the same thing! It would be the new PED scandal, with investigators checking locker rooms for animal fur, digging through the garbage for entrails, reporters grilling coaches on their cities’ plummeting stray cat…
Now if you could dig up a clip of him doing “Mr. Cat (Soft as Fuck)“ then I think we’d get us some converts.
Geno Smith is a leader? He seems more like the QB they wound up with when a roomful of guys was asked, “anybody want to take the snap?”
This is one of my favorite kinds of crazy.
Looks like somebody’s blood’s got a low boiling point. But, BOD, maybe you weren’t quite as fired up as that read . . .
To be fair, The Soft Parade is easily their worst album.
