IIRC Taylor Swift intentionally countersued for only a dollar so that way people wouldn’t disparage her for ‘doing it for the money’. And honestly, it’s not like she needs the money. She did it to prove a point.

If that’s not what he wants then more power to him. But we spend all this time talking about how many other guys he should be starting over, why wouldn’t he rather have a starting gig?

The dude played in a Super Bowl, of course he wants to be a starter. And we already have a starter in Mariota.

I just looked it up and my local NHL team has a grand total of 1 player from the state. Something like 3 that are even from the US. I counted one player from my state on my local NFL team.

Has he said what he wants? Or are we just speculating that his preferences haven’t changed at all in the last six-eight months? The Titans wouldn’t know because they weren’t even interested in talking to him for Matt Cassel’s backup job the week that Mariota was out. To be fair, they did go with proven world beater

Although I think Drekkan was talking about bringing Kaep in once Watson got injured like you mentioned, I don’t see bringing in a transition QB hurting a young QB’s ego. It’s not like everyone in the building doesn’t know that those guys are just keeping the seat warm.

Flacco is throwing for 170 yards a game and has 9 TDs to 11 ints with a QB rating of 74.2 this year. Last year, Kaep had 187 yards/game, 16 TDs, 4 ints, and a quarterback rating of 90.7. Oh, and 39 yards rushing per game. Not saying Kaep’s an MVP but Flacco has been an abomination this year.

I’m right on board with you, on this. Can I suggest adding the following teams to your shitlist:

I mean, Kaep would be an immediate improvement for the Jags, who are playoff-bound, the Ravens, who have a strong shot at the 6th seed, and the Packers, who only needed to keep their heads above water long enough to get Rodgers healthy (although it’s getting to be too late for that now).

Don’t all the other owners hate Trump for the shit he tried to pull with the USFL? I don’t think they ever would’ve let him buy the team, even if he had the money (which he doesn’t).

Hard to read this as anything other than ownership meddling, right? Like the previous Bills administration just spent a year dicking around Tyrod Taylor, and a completely new administration is doing the exact same thing. It’s not hard to connect the dots.

Gotta make up those calories somehow

The real article here should be about how the Browns decided the right price for AJ McCarron was A SECOND AND THIRD ROUND PICK.

Like someone else said, the person assigned to review the show seemed like the only person on the staff who didn’t enjoy it.

Agree on the “sorry, not sorry” paragraph coming off as disingenuous. Honestly I’m iffy on whether I think it’s an issue or not. But clearly more people than not dislike it and this doesn’t seem like a big enough issue to be worth sticking to your guns and purposely talking down to your audience instead of just

Now playing

Oh it’s already confirmed coming out with a trailer and everything. I’m just wondering because promotional material has said release in Fall 2017 but I haven’t heard anything since. The trailer itself just says ‘soon’ but that was back in August so soon could mean anything.

Any word on Black Mirror? Last I heard it was pegged for Fall 2017, but I haven’t heard anything about that recently.

It doesn’t really make sense to judge the trajectory of a person’s entire career if you’re going to ignore 90% of it.

I mean, even if he’s not playing at his ceiling, it still justifies what I’m trying to say- this sudden fetishization with “knowing the system” is insane. Even with simplified schemes and poor synergy with his receivers, Brissett is playing a hell of a lot better than Scott Tolzien, who’s had a year and a half to

There’s still value to pointing out stupidity even if it’s expected behavior.
