Only 56. So sad. I'll tip a few back for Steve Byrnes tonight. RIP

Thanks, and yeah I loved hanging with all these folks, they are all really cool. Definitely looking forward to doing more with them.

Thanks! I was using two bodies, a Nikon D750 and a D600. Most of these are probably a NIKKOR 70-200mm 2.8G VRII along with my favorite prime ever, the Sigma 35mm 1.4 ART. I also was using my NIKKOR 24-70mm 2.8G at times. I often use a polarizing filter.

Thanks dude. Excellent writing as always. Made me feel like I was driving them, too. Thanks for having me!

And speaking of number two, you should feel pretty happy that bag you ate wasn't the sugar free variety.

I love this kind of stuff. Hope they look inside.

That rescue is one of the most bad ass things I've ever seen. Holy shit.

Whoever made this, please stand up.

I agree with the message of your article, Patrick, and perhaps my comment was undermining your overall intent. But I think you are overlooking a negative net effect of posting that particular video.

Did you shoot these, Tyler? They're awesome photos!

Step one: write article about a tragedy

Sky reporting that Alonso came out of the CT scan and is uninjured. Good to hear.

Glacial profiling.

Two entire seconds, huh? In New York you'd have been honked at for 1.8 of them already. Cabbies are the worst at this. I swear to god it's like John Force is back there half the time with the reaction times they've got.

Glad your eyeball is OK. At least you were doing something awesome when that happened.

Yup. Wythe and north 13th-ish.

Awesome stuff Tavarish. I particularly like that zoom effect. Will have to try that. Here's a little light-paint shot I did in Brooklyn recently:

"This is a serious situation" caption is just perfect.
