I think just having Ackroyd saying “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts” would have been enough. I don’t think they needed the bit on him actually knowing about ghosts. I think it would have made the scene move better without being so heavy on the winking at the audience.

It would have been more helpful if I had more context clues than that there’s an iPhone on the carpet.

Toxicity hasn’t been too big of an issue so much as gloaters rubbing in a crappy win. Which is a bigger problem when so many games are steamrolls, and brings to mind how poorly Overwatch’s matchmaking is(which I would think is the crux of the issues around toxicity). The flat ‘win’ or ‘loss’ instead of a more gradient

Hero stacking is a huge problem in QM. So many games the defense moves to multiple bastions/torborns and a sniper that the game becomes unplayable. Of course the rampant amount of games where people are otherwise getting steamrolled kinda makes both ends of the spectrum incredibly unfun to deal with(or more accurately

I think there’s a lot that goes into a well earned jump scare, the tensions building up through the movie, our empathy of the characters, the slow quiet fear of what’s coming, and the quiet right before the BANG of sound and revealing of the fright. A supercut of jump scares just doesn’t work for me because I’m

I’ll wait for the movie to come out in full before I start analyzing it’s potential racism.

With Squirrel Girl, and the little I know of POD, this team seems...a tad OP.

I love all the pecking at small snippets of interviews to reach a point to proclaim Marvel’s racism. The Double Toasted article the director specifically states there were no good answers to the Ancient One. I can guarantee that if they had cast an Asian as the Ancient One you’d be complaining how they cast the

I suppose when everyone just plays Widowmaker every game, Bastions have to get a little more creative. Torborns are still very common though.

I kinda like the design of the costumes, Superman/girls look especially great compared to what I’m used to seeing.

Why they didn’t incorporate mods into OW I don’t really know.

There’s also a big tank shaped hole in a lot of teams. I have to play pick up on tank a lot and I SUCK as a tank.

Not from a video game, but Edge of Tomorrow(Live. Die. Repeat.), and Wreck It Ralph are kinda the best ‘video game’ movies :/

There must be a lot tied to the CPU then, as I have a GTX 660, but my CPU is a i5-4xxx that’s running 3Ghz, and at those settings I’m getting a lot lower than ~60fps.

When the enemy team goes Reinhart, Widowmaker, Bastion, and Genji it makes for a very boring game.

No, no, no. Clearly they just stop ALL production so the team members working on the engine can do their job unopposed.

Cinnamon Life and Reeses Puffs are God Tier

So many people say it’s good, but I really can’t get through it. I’ve tried twice, but can’t make it past the second episode. People say it’s relatable as a coming of age story, but if I can’t relate to the main character, or his story how can I get invested?

I can never get past the second episode. I just get so bored. I have no investment towards any of the characters, and it goes between too slow and too fast in the pacing to keep my interest.

Some of those shots seriously look like they were taken up Provo Canyon(though who knows since there’s not much in the way of ice caves and the like).
