Honestly all I want at this point is movies, comics, and any story to bring me into this world. I played some of the beta, and so far it’s not looking like my cup of tea. But the art, and the Big Hero 6-ness I need more of.

That kind of dismissive rejection is the worst. People complain about being ‘friend-zoned’ but lets be honest, if you actually wanted to be with that person, having them as a friend freaking rocks(ok sure the rejection is still hard but you’ll get over it).

I was really hoping to pick a random internet fight on the best Pokemon, but nope Gengar is pretty much the best, and the rest of the top 10 aren’t so bad either.

I stumbled across it on accident the first time I saw it. I had no idea what it was, and with such a high level, I just ran. Next thing I knew, my Elixirs had a strange symbol next to it, and I found I had a ton of them. However, not knowing what I had come across, I had to keep my game for fear of losing that sweet

I’ve also heard it called drywall putty, and ‘mud’ as well. But no one has ever referred to it as just drywall(because that’d get confusing!).

Gamora was done with practical effects, it’d probably have to be a little simpler were it a Netflix show. As for a built actress...Gina Carano?

Am I the only one that didn’t care for the fights? I have no context for whats going on. It’s just laser beams and people spazzing out. About the only fights that hold so far involve the White Canary, and sometimes Firestorm. They really need to figure out how to use Captain Cold and his firefighter buddy in a more

Correction: You have Gravity Rush Remastered up there on both February 2 and the 9th. I believe it comes out on February 9th.

Frau is the best anime character ever. I just wish the rest of the series could keep up, it had a lot of promise, but the big climax at the end was a let down.

You forgot the most important side character:

They executed the cinematography well enough, but it lacked any emotional resonance(of which was all over the place), that made much of the cinematography that the creators were inspired by so good. The worst part was, it wasn’t even funny(which I think is what they were going for?).

It felt like they took a lot of cinematic ideas, and did a decent job recreating them...without the thought or reason behind the doing so. It felt so hollow.

Apparently that quote is from a guy who never wanted a PS4 so bad he had dreams about it.

Depends on what angle you want to examine holograms? I mean there’s the obvious, “Technology at the time of filming.”. There is also the artistic license of the director, where and how he was inspired to convey this information. There is also the intention of diffusing a message/person into something that is clearly

I think the general order is fine, but why I comment is because I disagree. Empire is definitely #1, but Return is #2. While A New Hope started everything, I find it’s pacing and lack of content enough to knock it down to #3. Additionally I would put A Phantom Menace above Attack of the Clones. Why? While they’re both

Why did he break the stool if he wasn’t going to use the legs for weapons?

Considering this short is an introduction and not actually a story, I sure hope they have more planned.

Pretty much every announcement for when the guys from The Raid were brought on was in assumption of helping with choreography. Add in a cameo(and JJ Abrams himself admitting he just wanted them for a cameo), and it makes perfect sense. Not sure why io9 has been continually stuck on this point.

It has a few really stellar setpieces(coughCGIcough), and yeah the dragons on mech action is pretty good. But none of that matters for the one issue that is the crux of any good action movie. Movement and excitement. This movie moves at a creep to push so much exposition, to try and get you emotionally invested in a
