I can’t remember the last time I saw an Expedition driven by someone other than an overprogrammed white suburban woman.

I’m convinced it was written by an algorithm.
With these expanded offerings, the new Ford Expedition SUV is poised to attract new customers who are more culturally diverse than the full-size SUV category has seen in past years, including more women seeking family adventures to balance the stress of their overprogrammed lives.
“WTF??? People would rather just pay “what Ford says the car costs” instead of investing a few hours shopping around/negotiating to save thousands of dollars? Who are these people?”
It’s not ultrasensitive to say that you’re xenophobic and homophobic. Seems to bother you though, “snowflake.”
No, they treat it as a deeply unpleasant undertaking that they can avoid by spending less time and more money.
“Republican supporters of January 6th aren’t Americans”
“Immigrants aren’t really Americans” may not be a great implication you want to spread.
People don’t want to feel like they’re getting screwed. It’s a useful fiction so people can buy the car and not think about it too much.

Given his past support of both Lucid and Rivian, I doubt it.
866 miles is about 12-14 hours of actual drive time. Don't tell me you can't find an hour's worth of stopped time to charge within that period of time. It's impossible.
These arguments are getting ridiculous now.
Your 866-mile trip almost certainly has some fast chargers along the way. A single 30-minute stop, maybe combined with a meal and restroom break, would be more than enough to juice up the car for the rest of the journey.
Motor Trend took the car on a trip from LA to SF, a route with plenty of hills, and it would seem that real world usage comes quite close to the EPA estimate.
The Model S Plaid adds about 200 miles of charge in 15 minutes (13.3 mi per minute)
You choose your car off of your least frequent trip? People with the money for this car are grabbing a flight and a rental. Lucid is obviously not looking at the same segment as the volt. That said the Volt is an under rated car. It’s really very good.
Yearly? You could buy any EV for the other 350 days of the year and rent a car for the annual trip.
This guy is here...
This EV won’t work for me because the commute to my job is 20 miles each way and once I get there they don’t give me enough money to buy this car.
