I was astonished that Kevin repeatedly referred to this car as “stylish.”

Just fyi, these are human beings.  They should be transported to the best place for them to live safely while their asylum claims are processed.

Some of these restrictions don’t look like laws but instead a misdemeanor.”

How the fuck is someone filming the police as an attempt to create accountability a Karen? You are confused.

As a busy working mom, I appreciate that this feature saves me the time of having to actually view the pics and videos! Thanks, Kinja!

Yeah I worked at McDonalds back in the day when they had a promo for 35 cent hamburgers.  There was a 10 burger per person maximum.  Large groups of teenagers would come through the drive thru ordering 80-90 per car.  Thank god there was no online ordering back then ...

I’m a corporate lawyer making mid 6 figures and it’s not as shitty and hard as working fast food. Which is not as shitty and hard as waitressing.

Really? I worked a lot of food service jobs when I was younger and ThatWebGuy sounds EXACTLY like every asshole manager I ever had the misfortune to work for.

It’s amazing.  I got my first mortgage in 2010.  Given that we were just crawling out of the financial crisis (that was STRONGLY TIED to subprime mortgages), I prepared to have to sign in blood before 20 witnesses to get approved.  Instead, I orally told them my income and they just approved me ...

Dude.  Some people just have a lot of money and want a big car (and don’t care about the environment and whatnot but that’s not the point).

Kids and dogs and anxiety about driving and plenty of disposable income?

I’ve lived in the midwest most of my life and ... no.  Unless you’re a single 20-something with no kids, $50K is not going to feel comfortable.  My husband’s first job out of college had a $75K salary and we lived a pretty tame, budgeted existence (I was in grad school).

In the next year I will (finally!!!) pay off my student loans and my youngest child will start Kindergarten in public schools. I feel like buying a fucking Bugatti.

How is this the point? You have no idea what this person’s circumstances are. All you know is she was severely mistreated by people with authority (and guns). And you decide to focus on this. Seriously, fuck you for that.

Nothing better than a giant nerd with disposable income.

Who cares if Madison owned slaves right? The important thing is what WOMEN ARE WEARING!

By “dear friend” you mean ... something else, right?

I was surprised as well.  If the point of the photo is to showcase that any employee can wear any uniform, it’s just kind of surprising that there are no men in skirts.

California has the largest sub-national economy in the world.  I don’t agree with everything they do, but I appreciate that someone is willing to throw their weight around to push change in a positive direction.

I am convinced the majority of celebrity “relationships” are for PR and I’m shocked (well, not that shocked) at how people eat them up.
