Great story! I think if there was safety issue with the wooden ladder, the city would stop using them. Beside, the city can custom build the ladders according to their needs and repair them. Hopefully, it has a better battery life than the Lumix cameras. I just just got a new top of the line Lumix point and shoot and the battery life is terrible. I have never seen a camera suck a battery dry faster than my Lumix.
