@Digo: Yes. I don't want to listen to my music at the skatepark on a smart phone. One good slam and that iPhone is toast. I would rather uses a less expensive music player when skating.

I can't stand jacks. They are the weak point of any device. Since the jack spring usually wears out at some point leaving you with a bad connection. I try not to plug and unplug as little as possible.
