They seem pissed that Tyler pointed out the lies misleading wrong things the onstage repubs spoke so easily the other night.

You’re not alone.

‘Serve the public?’ he asked, in astonishment.

People never know the answer to that question when it comes to themselves

I (still) love Camille Paglia! I think I’d be able to see him more like you and she if I weren’t American. Knowing she is and holds that attitude only makes me respect her even more than I have for like, 20 years or so. Anyway, he scares the shit out of me, well, it’s actually those who dig him that frighten me most

I think he’s become the litmus test for the too straightforward question, ‘Are you stupid?’ And/or ‘Have you lost your damn mind?’

Thank you! :-)

Awwww, SQUEEEEEE! I love Munchie as well as his name. Thanks for sharing.

Something’s been nagging me since I first replied to you on this. I just found it; it’s a comment posted on Slashdot in 2004:

I’ll check there before I buy, that’s a great idea. Thanks!

I’m so going to order this from Amazon thanks to your opinions, the youtube and what little I’ve heard about it before. This really grabbed my attention. I almost got weepy when he was going on about how we’re number 1 but not in the ways most would want to hear it now.

WOW. I never saw that before and too bad it wasn’t real life. But if it was, dude would probably have found himself being chased through whichever town w/raging people carrying pitchforks for the crime of saying the truth ‘un-american’ bullshit. Until we face the truth about ourselves, I’m sorry to say, we’re fucked

You’re so right, it hurts. It’s obvious they want to ensure people are stupid and keep them stupid in order for them to have built-in voters for future elections. It’s disgusting but here we are.

Thank you! I believe you’re right. Along those lines, I’m old and it freaks me out how devalued the idea of education has gotten over the last almost-15 years. Like, when santorum and bush the lesser dissed higher education, saying it wasn’t necessary, I almost lost it, y’know, shouting at the TV (and at articles

I hope you don’t mind but I copied your last ‘graph to use in future. It’s exactly how I feel but I get too emotional to put it together as you have. Thanks in advance!

What frightens me is the thought of future voters who might not be taught critical thinking. It wouldn’t occur to them not to believe whichever moron on teabagger TV/radio.

It’s the same w/so many against Black people’s rights. They’re scared shitless that they’ll be treated the same way as they’ve treated them.

It makes me wish I’d have been there just to see the teacher’s reaction.

I love Little MsMymian’s thinking and I love MsMymian’s posting this. I also love your avatar because I love books.

Is that your MO? First warn us and then something-something! Full disclosure: I’m waiting for ‘profit’. Sort of.
