Yup, especially when you end up doing something that makes them feel stupid especially when it's something you've already advised them to do too many times but stubbornly refused.

OT: I want, nay, need to read your post about the autism spectrum diagnosis &c but after I click, I got a Kinja 404. Twice because I am stupid. :-(
I'm hoping the lack of stars means people haven't read this yet, not that people didn't get it. PS, Off my damn lawn, you kids.
I have a feeling it was expensive which could explain why it's still here, but who knows?
Dude, I had the same 'did it fucking publish?' concern until it occurred to check my page and I saw whichever comment there. From then on, I leave my hanging posts and go on to the next, assured they're there although I have no idea where (and I can't edit what I can't see). So I proofread slowly before I hit…
Whoa — somehow I missed the uBlock article. I'm off to read and install, thanks!
Right? It made it so easy to read comments and I loved it. Half the time I post these days, they disappear when I click 'publish' or they hang there, on the page, even when I'm approved on whichever site.
I thought that was actually a feature.
Lately starting about a month ago, ABP has been leaving white space under the 'trending on kinja' stories (on Gawker et al) instead of showing three other articles as I'm used to seeing. That's OK since I'll scan the main page anyway, just to find more stuff to read.
But will they? *evil laugh* Also, 'oy'.
I don't mean to body-shame but he doesn't appear like someone who's athletically fit; he looks like he needs to exericse. I mean, to my untrained eye, apart from the ludicrous clothing choices, he has a fat ass and could use to lose a few lbs from his waistline.
Thanks for this (you beat me to it). :-)
Yup, that was about 3-4 years ago and I had on grey lenses (I went through a longass phase w/all the colours, kept switching them &c).
Oh, FFS. The latest fuckwit thinks whatever I don't think (the nicest way I can put it). I actually anticipate more replying in future and I hope I'm wrong.
If you were here in January 2013, I talked my head off up, after almost ten years of only reading. I left in March or April, when there was a story about that young/old blonde chick, shit, forgot her name (she got famous when she married Doug Something who's twice her age). It might have been on Jez, actually. Anyway,…
YES. I feel uncomfortable but at the same time, I'd like CG to read what I/we have to say since it seems we all missed DK's cursing (something I wouldn't have let go, had I seen it). I wish she would've understood that. Even though I don't take sides, I'll come down on someone fairly close to me whom I feel is…
I wondered about that. Yesterday, my first comment on this story was in grey and then I couldn't help notice my others were emblackened. I don't get it. I'm hardly ever here, thanks to the commentariat over the last couple of years.
LOL, YOU'RE SO NOT ALONE it's my fave as well. ME ME ME ME ME! Everyone look at me! And at her! But now, me again, MEEEEEE! Now where's that .gif of the attention-whore unclothed chick doing handstands on the beach? *smirk*
Yup, same here. I'm very protective of them, both IRL and online (I agree w/your entire comment) but I'm not a parent. Over the years reading here, I've noticed that most will keep shtum rather than jump in. I hope I'm wrong and that's not the truth but it's what I've noticed in what I've read.
I know.
