This is new enough to have the updated DEF exhaust system. As such that is a hard no for me. The problem that these newer diesels present is that unless all of your driving is on the freeway at decent speeds then the intake and EGR will get clogged with carbon deposits. My MIL has a Chevy Cruz diesel that she uses to

These are really popular in northern Europe. Everybody and their mothers have had diesel bimmers due frugality and how nice they are to drive.

Oooof. This thing is so rough... but $6k has my cheap bastard sensibilities going haywire! It has good parts support, the mileage is okay, and the problems I’m seeing seem surmountable. Screw it, nice price!

Convertibles are like pizza and boobs, even bad examples are pretty good. This is cheap enough to have around for a dozen drives a year and not care if you forget and leave the top down.

The upscale companion to your Juke and Cube in the Nissan garage of horror

Took me a long time to realize that the hood prop rod is on the right. It looks like a massive uneven fender gap that only exists on the one side of the car.

For those who think this is fast, and sure, it is fast, but my 2014 X1 is faster (per fastestlap) in both 0-100km/h and the quarter mile, has a much more useful cargo area, and IMHO is better looking. And you can get them for the same price, complete with an infotainment system that will at least let you answer phone

Now playing

I am one of those people, I raced this one for three years on a tiny budget, the engine is fairly bombproof. It still amuses me that in full Florida boulevard trim the make for lovely relaxed cruisers, a bit of fettling here and there and they will set your trousers on fire. (My next door neighbor came over to explain

Swapping in a small block is the result of a knowledge gap, much like when mechanics didn’t know how to service GM fuel injection in the ‘50s, so they ripped them out and installed carburetors. If one were to consider owning one of these, they need to try their damnedest to learn how everything works, who knows more

It would best be suited for someone with mechanical knowledge and skill to tend to its unique performance and needs.”

The need to close the tailgate is over rated. I haul drywall and furniture grade plywood all the time in my shortbed.

It has the right engine, but what it doesn’t have is an 8' bed or 4x4 which are two requirements I have for owning a truck.  This is probably a NP for someone who wants a clean body truck and a V8 though, just not me.

Annual or 50 000 mile service cost from HR Owen (London based main dealer) £595. My local independent Bentley specialists charge £300. They are not overly complicated beasts and beautifully engineered so most things are doable yourself but a fully stamped service history is worth loads when selling the thing on.

Likely, but you are going to have to open you your wallet a TON to get a tune on an Bentley.

Jalops here: “everything is grey, white, black, we need colors!”... Color shows up, jalops here: “OMG you won’t catch me in that, barf...”

Hyundai cuts their warranty in half for subsequent buyers of their EVs. I have no idea if they do the same thing with Genesis, but it would be worth looking into, before buying.

When those from the UK pronounce Renault they rhyme it with minnow y’know. Whereas Americans rhyme with default by default.Peugeot by Brits is almost Persia . Yanks say PooJoe. Does anyone else besides the French do 3 bolt wheels? Suck Ray Blew I give this 10 an NP too

It is possible without too much fabrication and relatively plug and play with parts taken from a donor, but I think there is some ECU trickery involved, because you need to fool the C30 into thinking it is another P1 Volvo that was available with AWD as an option. Volvo considered making AWD available as on option on

Could be - timing belts on these are due either by 100k miles or after 10 years. People like to cheap out by ignoring them. The coolant expansion tanks in these are also very prone to cracking with age, and there is no coolant level sensor or warning light. They can either cause a noticeable leak, or be just slow
