Looks like a NP to me even if it needs work on the brakes.

Is it just me or do all Rangies of this vintage look like they sag at the rear. First thing I would do is raise the rear end by an inch or so.
Did the owner smear vaseline on their camera lens before taking these pictures? I am perplexed how they can all look so bad.
This car has an infinite amount of air conditioning directly above the driver’s head, there is no problem here.
O-M-G. *shakes head multiple times*...Enough with the damn black wheels. Enough. I appreciate people having a vision and that they have worked and earned the money to make that vision become a reality. I get it. If this is what you had in mind, good for you.
You can’t get one from Central or South America for 13k. There are a couple of companies down there that snatch them up, fix them up, and ship them up and they charge a lot.
you guys need to stop it. there’s no such thing as a 2500 dollar car that runs. put this post next to your nickel candy bar.
JALOPNIKE, I WOULD LIKE TO BUY THSI SSR YOU HAVE FOR SALE BUT I CANNOT FIND A LINK ON YOUR WEBSITE TO DO SO FROM MY COMPUTER. IF YOU COULD PLEASE CALLE ME SO WE CAN DISCUSS PURCHASING THE VEHICLE I WOULD BE GRATEFUL. BARB AND I HAVE DOCTORS APPONTMENTES TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY AND GO TO BED AT 6 BUT ANY OTHER TIME WILL…
NP only if you plan to swap the engine and turn it into a lowrider.
Is that a fucking AUTOGRAPH on the glovebox?
I didn’t know about the cable stretching thing. Already had over 140k on a TDI and got a GPS. Figured it was reading wonky, showed 75 mph, speedo showed 65 mph. Much later on, odometer showed I would need a new timing belt in about 30k miles, but there was a strange noise under the hood. Got a new Jetta TDI, put…
I’ve owned many of these B5 Passats and a few months ago I bought another one. There is no reason you should pay $5k for one of these, even accounting for the fact that used car prices have gotten stupid. The engine isn’t special and neither is the transmission. If it doesn’t have any major problems, it’s a $3,500 car.
Reminds me of a kit car. But since Renault built it, the engineering should be sound, right?
Also suggested is the switching of the truck’s driveline to 4WD for that true overlander get-away-from-it-all experience.
The same can be said for just about any vehicle that isn’t sold in another country. For example, I saw a random news story about Ford, Dodge and Chevrolet starting to sell their full sized trucks in Australia and Europe. I guess the stupid “ Brodozer” thing here in the US has infected other parts of the world. Ford…
I am disappoint.
Great condition, not modded up. Just too much money. It’s a truck, with lotsa miles, no cab storage. ND - not going to reward a runaway used market. $8500 and we’ll talk.
Oh Hell yes. This is the antidote to a world littered with CRVs and Outbacks and whatever all those GM SUVs are called now. This is Mad Max for the price of a trip with the fam to Disney
I don’t care about the specs. I don’t care about any details. At $5,500 this is fuck around money and I’m excited to find out, even if it kills me.
