This article is not entirely correct. The new gamecube controllers (like the Yoshi one shown in the picture) will actually work like a classic controller, those also plug into the wiimote and not the gamecube adapter. It's just the original gamecube controllers using the adapter which won't work for other games.

The whole original article feels like invented drama. There are far worse things in the game to wring your hands about if you're that sort of person who likes finding things to feel bad about.

if you really want to feel bad for a writer. go to the grimoire website for the game it keeps mentioning... someone obviously VERY painstakingly created a huge and intricate lore to the game. wanting to make something epic on a grand scale... and how much of that huge lore actually made it into the game?

It looks very Jaguar to me. And by that I mean mysterious, distant, and none of my friends owned one.

I think this is a bit excessive. Having a contest for fans to get their work in a game is pretty cool. It's not exploitative in the least. :|

At best I'm hoping for a passable story, a moderately engaging battle system, towns made of a couple of pathways here and there and an ok world map but one that's probably not even on par with DQVIII's.

If Final Fantasy XV doesn't do well, perhaps there's not much of a future for Square Enix console games. It kind of really depends on how that goes.

I'm still convinced FF Versus XIII wasn't even a real game when it was first announced. I'm positive it was just a fancy concept trailer Square Enix threw together to satisfy their deal with Sony for a PS3-exclusive FF game.

It'll be bundled with The Last Guardian. Sigh... ... :(
