That’s one way to ensure franchise suicide.

Insert any _____ killers and you'll see that they never really are. Most just fade away.
You can't beat the simplicity of just putting a game in a console and playing. Obviously there's still updates and sign-ins and other BS, but at least you know it works.
Oh no not sex, that one thing that every human participates in...
What is the actual benefit of a closed door demo for the press? I feel like this just ensures everyone is going to gloss over it until they can actually see it themselves.
All I need is MGS5 and Fallout 4 to hold me off until next year. Seriously, those two games combined are hundreds of hours of content, and I purposefully haven't played Witcher 3 yet just so I can save it for the game drought.
I preordered mine a few hours after the conference. I could see this happening from a mile away.
First Class and Days of Future Past are pretty good. Much better than the originals in my opinion. And I’m caustiouly optimistic for Deadpool. It has a lot of potential to be good... But also terrible.
A lot of people don’t like the “fluff” content in GZ. Collecting items, difficulty modes, and bare bones side missions aren’t really substantial. And when Konami tried charging $40 for it, people were obviously pissed. This is a perfect PS+ game, and I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it either.
I rented it and could only play for a week. It got so boring playing the same game types and maps over and over, and I refused to pay for the pass so I returned it. I never see it being talked about on sites, so I assume it's pretty much dead.
Yeah that’s true. I guess I feel like there’s less control over my console to fix those problems. With a computer I can save backups, use console commands, alter files, etc. With a console, I can take the disk out and unplug it. That’s about it.
Probably because it has a baseline. You don’t have to account for a million different android phones, just iPhone (or iPad).
I was expecting a bit more restriction. Consoles are obviously set hardware, so there are going to be plenty of mods that won’t run on a PS4 or Xbox (like every hyper realism mod) so I guess creators are just going to have to say “This won’t work on consoles” before you download it.
It makes it sound like they’ll move past the “Dark” titles and reinvent the formula. Much like they went from Demon, to Dark, to Bloodborne.
Granted, it’s not entirely new, but Last Guardian got a pretty big reaction.
The games at Sony’s conference were great, but one thing that slipped by was Playstation Vue. They said it is the first service to offer a true al a cart TV experience where you can pay for the channels you want. Obviously I mostly care about the games, but that service reveal actually got me really excited.
Goddamn exclusive platform features are the bane of my existence...
Yeah but it’s an actual special edition, I wouldn’t hold my breath on their being “enough” for everyone.

Better preorder now because this is going to sell out quick. Best get ahead of the scalpers.

QUOTE | “Lacking any kind of momentum in this multi-screen ecosystem future are Sony and Nintendo. I expect both will be squeezed out of relevance by dramatically larger firms by 2020.” - Glu Mobile CEO Niccolo de Masi, explaining why he thinks control of the living room will belong to companies like Apple and Google.
