That show was a hot mess. From the writing room to the soundstage. But I LOVED IT.

I honestly think this is one of the things that really killed the show. (Outside of the ridiculous writing.) You couldn’t stop watching Hilty and there was just no way that McPhee could compete with her charisma. She stole every freaking scene and every freaking song.

That’s kind of why the show never gelled for me (and yes I still watched it till the bitter end). Not only was Megan ridiculously talented, but she was also physically perfect for the role! Made zero sense.

Megan is stunningly talented. Putting her as McPhee’s second fiddle was reasons 101 that show never worked. That being said, I loved the shit out of it. Angelica Huston singing September Song made me so, so happy.

Most actors aren't millionaires, though. There are a lot more bit actors than there are stars, they're the ones this issue really affects.

That’s terrible, I'm sure a lot of those actors would love to see some residuals come in during their golden years. I'm thinking more about the character actors who are in an episode or two of a bunch of shows than the stars, it seems like a tough industry to make a living in if you don't hit it really big.
