Right, that’s kind of what I’m saying. Whether standing or sitting, there’s sufficient chance to touch something that you’d rather not be touching. Haha.

Come on man, you’ve never gotten shit finger??

I’m still not going to stick my hand “slightly” into a wet, filthy, smelly hole that I can’t see into

Yes, I am also confused at how someone does an actual good job of wiping while sitting down. My parents really led me astray here.

Pretty sure that’s not true. A simple Google search lets me know that the rate of traumatic injury for cheerleaders is the highest for female athletes, but not over all athletes (boys ice hockey and gymnastics, for example, have higher overall incident rates. And football has the most concussive/head injuries by far).

You might find it hard to argue that cheerleading and dance foster the same kind of stupefying (literally) injuries that football causes.

No, it’s a slur here. Stupid ass bitch, dumb ass bitch, faggot ass bitch (sorry for that last one)...it’s meant to be demeaning and derogatory. Sometimes, when speaking about your self, you can use it as a positive...but it’s definitely her being homophobic here.

The children of the Kardashian family seem to have a thing for black people. Kanye, Tyga, Blac Chyna, Lamar Odom...

The cliches are super annoying (yes we get it, tragic tragedy is tragic, how about starting a conversation?), but people will drag you through the fucking dirt if you ever speak out about them. Never understood why.

I maintain that twitter really isn’t important unless you’re very famous (celebrity) or very powerful (politician, company, etc.). The rest of us are just wading around down in the muck.

You seem to be forgetting that #Oscarsowhite is about the whitewashing of the industry, which involves all minorities, not just black people. And that the issue is far deeper than nominations, it’s also about casting, writing, directing. But I feel like regardless of the statistics, you’d still be trying to justify

Which is why the issue of #Oscarsowhite is, as people have rightfully said, an issue that starts far before we get to the nomination process/Oscars. I totally understand people’s anger, but it’s aimed at the wrong people right now (I mean, it should be aimed at everyone, but it feels like it’s missing out on the root

I am genuinely a pretty chill guy, I can’t think of anything that makes my blood boil and generally don’t get angry over anything—save LA traffic. I can’t take it. I actually moved clear across town to a shittier apartment just to be closer to my job (cutting my morning commute from 45-50 min down to 5). I was at the

You tell me man. That’s a different conversation, and we’re talking about tennis here.

I wholly agree with you. But even if I enjoyed men’s tennis more/thought it was more exciting, I would still want both sexes to be paid equally.

I hate this “making me side with Megyn Kelly” thing she’s managing to pull off.

Ah, OK. You could have saved me a lot of time by just letting me know you were just a sexist and probably racist troll. Have a good day, man.

I’m pretty sure this has been verified, but you are free to double check. I remember reading that women’s tennis is the most popular women’s sport in the world—especially considering the 4 huge Grand Slam events. During the Olympics beach volleyball might spike in popularity (although I’m sure tennis hold its own),

First of all, Gilles’ argument centers around the issue of popularity, which I think is moot.

Agreed. Roger Federer seems like the kind of guy who wants to be the ultimate “statesman” of the sport, and as a result, skirts “controversy” at all costs. Not that it should be controversial to say your fellow female athletes deserve the same pay, but...he likes to collect his paychecks, keep his prestige, and not
