Mothers aren't always right, and sometimes just aren't very compassionate, no matter what pain you're feeling. I hope you get what you need to feel better. Mental health is so important, and not all that easy to maintain.

I've had facet injections in my spine for very bad pain from damaged discs in my neck. They twilighted me for the procedure, though, so it was easy.

It’ll never happen in the present version of America, where compassion doesn't exactly rule. It's a great idea, though. 

I believe in second chances, especially for kids, so if it was the right thing to release her after 3 years, she deserved the opportunity to make something of her life. What stands out to me is the disparity of what the judge ordered, 25 years, and the three years she in fact served, apparently productively and…

I mean, the guy's not wrong. He made it sound sexist and patronizing, though, and that's the takeaway.  Women shouldn't be stuck in traffic when they've got cooking and cleaning to do, and it's hard to shine that statement up.
