I don't care what you guys say. I'm taking an XLR over a C5 'Vette any day of the week.

How can this grow on you! It's horrible.
Just add AWD...
Exactly. That's what makes them competitive. Sure, they lag behind in driving dynamics, innovation, styling and some other areas, but it is made up for (to some people) in quality, reliability and cost. How competitive a product is, is a summation of all attributes, not just a select few.
Wait... is the $1,000 going to count towards the total cost of ownership?
7.62x51mm =/= .308 Winchester
Throw a 7.62 NATO round in a .308 Win chambered rifle. Shoot it. Then try to reload that round. Good luck. Firing .308 Win in a 7.62 NATO rifle can be dangerous. Sure, people do it, but I wouldn't chance it.
Those shoot 7.62 NATO, not .308 Winchester. They are very close, but not the same.
When compared to AK based weapons, the M1A isn't nearly as common. But yes, you've got me.
Well, you are comparing two very different rounds. .308 is basically for long-range bolt-action rifles, were 7.62x39 is a very common/popular round that is in several different types of rifles.
Yeah, it actually looks like a couple different sizes. Compare shot #4 (middle of the door) to shot number #295 (next to the fog lamp).
Most of those holes do not look like 7.62mm sized...
Exactly. The biggest downfall of the F50, in my opinion, is the looks. It looks rather tame compared to the F40. The F40 has a more timeless and "race bred" design. The F50 looks comparatively soft, and with the targa top removed, it gives a dated appearance while also detracting from it seeming like a racecar for…
Well, the F50 has the engine out of a racecar. The F40 was a Dino based engine. Not that there is anything wrong with the F40 engine, it's actually a great engine. But it doesn't come close to the V12 the F50 used from the 333SP.
Thought this was going to be the picture:
I never understood a lot of people's undying love for the F40 when the F50 often is forgotten. Yes, I think the F50 is far prettier, but the F50 is a much more impressive car. Especially when only 349 were produced compared to the ~1300 F40. Go to a decent Ferrari gathering, and you'll most likely see an F40, maybe…
Pulling numbers from your ass I see...
I'm just going to be confused if they ever bring back the Dakota or Rampage or some other model. Suddenly it will be the Ram Dakota and the Ram Rampage. How dumb does that sound. I still wish "Ram" never existed and it was the Dodge Ram again.
$22,000 is chump change. Want to know what $22,000 gets you in the manufacturing world? A single auto-feed screw gun. Yeah, one of these guys...
Yeah... that's why good racing teams are willing pay record dollar amounts for experienced and good drivers.
