Yeah, that's just not true.
Yeah, that's just not true.
Nearly every job is approaching minimum wage? LOL.
Ain't it the NBC Sports Network though, which you need cable to get? I'm primarily interested in the non-oval racing.
Thanks for reminding me I wish I had cable television.
That leaves out the lower paying engineering majors, like civil engineering.
That's on the low end. For my area, a certified teacher, who must get their master's degree within two years (maybe three, I'm not entirely sure) usually makes $40k. A currently uncertified teacher at a private school makes $27~30k.
Yeah... no.
Bork bork bork.
Exactly. When are people going to realize that Republicans aren't Conservatives anymore.
LOL. Yeah, I wasn't very high compared to other engineers, but it was most likely because I struggled with classes in school. But that doesn't take away the fact that it was very livable wage.
On average, about 30-35% of my pay comes from profit-sharing (bonus). Good years, it's been 50%, bad years, like two years ago, I got no profit-sharing at all.
No, I wasn't poorly paid. That's the point. With that money I was able to afford a nice single bedroom apartment, a brand new truck, a crappy old motorcycle, a flashy new TV (top of the line at the time), comfortable nights out on the weekend at restaurants and bars, a storage space where my shitty project car sat…
$15/hr is barely livable if you life in NYC or LA. If you are in Flint, MI, then it is great. $15/hr is $30,000/year. That's a decent pay wage for having virtually no skills other than being a "programmable" body on a production line. Hell, if the person worked a simple four hours of overtime every single week,…
I'm not arguing a single thing you said. I'm not saying teachers should be paid more. I'm not saying people shouldn't make $15/hr. I'm not saying CEOs should make millions. I'm simply saying that for requiring no college education, no specialized job skills, and no professional trade schooling, $15/hr is good pay.…
But he was hoping to build a pool, not make his mortgage payment. Huge difference. A pool is an additional extravagance. If he lost his bonus, he simply couldn't get the pool. He didn't have to foreclose on his house. He wasn't at risk of getting his car repo-ed.
Yes the crash was pretty bad with some fire and a minor explosion. But your main image seems to be striving for click-bait.
With pretty damn good benefits. $15 per hour is $30,000 per year before overtime. That's more than many starting teachers make with a 4 year degree.
If you are depending on your company performance based bonuses to be a major pillar to support your lifestyle, you are doing it wrong.
Small Buicks still seem foreign to me. Yeah, the Skyhawk was around long before, but hell, these are what Buicks used to be all about:
Well, 2.5 years would typically be about 30,000 miles, which is a pretty standard tread rating.
