Wendy’s sabotaged themselves by not taking the advice of the BBQ guy on their own commercial. He says “Your sauce needs to be a little bit sweet, a little bit spicy and a little bit smoky.”

Cut to them offering those three things as separate sauces. HE SAID “AND”, NOT “OR”, YOU IDIOTS!

You do, however, get your choice of barbecue sauces: smoky, spicy, or sweet.

Wendy’s tells you they failed right in the commercial. The BBQ pit master tells them that their sauce should be a little smoky, a little spicy, and a little sweet. So what do they do? They make three different sauces for each of those qualities, rather than one sauce that encompasses all three.
