If you wanna laugh. I mean really laugh. Like you've never laughed before then do yourself a favor and don't watch the Bill Murray Netflix special.

Showalter's directing? Well, there goes the chance of the film making any money.

He should title it "Hey Wanna Go Somewhere And Shoot The Shit?" after his classic appearance in Tunnelvision….

Chris Pratt's of course.

Disney don't give a shit what he thinks and they own the character now.

So you're saying I should fast forward through his stand-up special the same way I fast forward through the opening of his podcast until the guest comes on? You got it.

Hope they cover Hartman's work on "Hot For Teacher."

I really have no problem with Garden State. But this film is the definition of pretentious.

totally agree. his talkies are really bad.

….but as the years wore on that side of Letterman, that arguably was what drew us all to him, kind of faded away with his age.

New Line put out a great box set a few years ago. It was partially Lloyd's own fault that he kind of fell by the way side. He didn't want his films shown on TV for a long time because he was afraid they'd be shown at the wrong speed and with crappy music, etc. He was a control freak with how his films would be shown.

Harold Lloyd was pretty damn good too when it comes to crafting visual gags. As a matter of fact they used a handful of the same gag writers. (and I'm not taking anything away from Keaton who I admire as well.)

I don't know but if I had to guess I'd say Lucas saw more merch in selling teddy bear-like Ewoks as opposed to Wookies.

Actually I'd say it's harder to figure out how he's the same guy who made American Graffiti.

Lucas has been saying this stuff about going back to making experimental films for decades. Even before he started the Star Wars prequels. And I've seen some of his student work and it is experimental and closer to avant garde. But since we've been hearing him claim to be looking forward to returning to experimental

Overer The Top

I'm assuming this person is no longer a friend.

And yet Jim Hanks sits waiting for his phone to ring….

I liked Kurtz' claims about how Return of the Jedi was supposed to end originally when he was still in the fold. With Luke walking off into the sunset alone like an old spaghetti western hero, and Han being dead and the woks were to be the wookie planet. It's easy to find online it was an LA Times interview

Be prepared for Jimmy Fallon squeezing his way into this episode most likely with Timberlake tagging along for the most unwanted, unecessary cameo of all-time.
