Well now that Festivus is all corporate.

RIP Ass Dan.

R.I.P. Nathan Rabin, R.I.P.

It’s easy to laugh at them, but how many of us had as much fun as they did last weekend?

It’s 1999 week at the A.V. Club.

Is Nathan Rabin okay?

(Woop woop)

Burning Man without tech bros.

Somebody check on Nathan Rabin.

I have been living my life entirely wrong all these years.

There was that one time he did the “I am vengeance” speech after being recognized working at a soup kitchen.

If only they had some way of informing people of new shows.

Netflix is also sorta losing money, subscribers, and most importantly, investors now too, so yes, they have to be instant and very profitable hits that attract subscribers and revenue or they will get killed off by Disney and Warner and/or all the VCs and banks who lent Netflix billions and want to see instant results.

It’s a Netflix produced show.  If no one had heard of it, that’s on Netflix.

I have the same question too. I feel like Netflix’s shows used to be stuff that normal networks might not take a risk on, but now it’s just “anything that isn’t Stranger Things-level ubiquitous is getting canceled”.

I mean, could you imagine if they had canceled Bojack after 1 season? It had neither the viewers nor the critical success in season 1.

Yes, and there's a contract and everything. Money might have even changed hands.

So long as it has some wicked awesome fight scenes between children, sign me up.

Now playing

“Wait, I think I can see the gun now.”

I think it was one of the best since the original trilogy. Solid film.

Rogue One is the best Star Wars movie since the Disney takeover.
