I saw one with a Chinese menu in his hand walking through the streets of Soho in the rain.

I saw a werewolf, drinking a piña colada at Trader Vic’s

You know, Cherub Rock is a pretty good song that doesn’t get enough appreciation.

Typical Todd Margaret behavior.

I met David Cross at a house party in either the late 90s or early 2000s, and he was a bit of an Asshole, but I had the same first thought as you. Also, me pestering him to say “Chicken Pot, Chicken Pot, Chicken Pot Pie” probably didn’t help.

One of the best decisions Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt made in its most recent season was writing David Cross’s character into a full-body cast, then recasting the part with another actor, then writing the character off the show altogether.

Emma Stone, is that you?

Can I agree that the apology was lame while still thinking the “#Rashomon” tag was well-used? Regardless of it being used in reference to an Asian, it distills his point into a single word: Two people may remember the same event very differently, without deceitful intent on either side. It’s certainly less charged

I’ve been a David Cross fan for over a decade, and my first thought when reading Yi’s account was, “Cocaine’s a helluva drug.”

In before the comments turn into a total shitshow. For the record, that was one weak-ass “apology” and the #Rashomon tag directed to an Asian person is not cute. David, just say you were coked off your face and move on.

Twitter IS terrible. I’ve tried to get into it but it’s just too much noise, not enough room to give context to anything you’re talking about, too easy to get lost in your own little world, and too easy to spread hate lazily and with impunity.

Because for a while, it was a fun way for friends from all over to snark on something on TV at the same time (Super Bowl or Oscars). It felt like I was hanging out with people I don’t ever get so see, plus there were comedians and writers that I like hanging out with us.

Aggregate Twitter Response Journalism has replaced and vastly surpassed Studies Show Journalism as the laziest and most damaging trend in modern reporting.

Because it didn’t start out this horribly. The trashy elements have taken over in the last year or two.

Also an excellent sitcom writer. The Good Place and (I think) Parks & Rec.

Seeing as how you just know he does all of his “thinking (?)” on the toilet during Fox News commercial breaks, I would prefer he continues to tweet rather than Instagram

I’ve also been on Twitter since 2009, but for me it hasn’t been a hellscape. That’s mainly because when I say ‘on Twitter’, I mean I signed up for an account and then never used it.

I’d really love for the most recent issues with the platform signal a watershed moment / death knell of it.

The 1970s were pretty far from positive economic growth.
