How come Adele is wearing no makeup and Lady Gaga so much? I want to knoooow. Just cuz a "bro-down" implies casual.

I am in the restaurant industry and have worked both BOH and FOH. I have never heard of being paid for changing into uniform, although I'm sure some places do pay for that time. As a chef, I feel there is a spoken and unspoken rule that one must show up fifteen minutes before shift, change, gather whatever you need to

People get that upset over losing their phones?! Uuugh.. Everything is replaceable. It is just an object! Bleh. I suppose the idea of someone stealing from you is upsetting, but usually missing phones are just displacement...

I am living with my boyfriend and his parents because we just moved. His sister and her two children were living here as well in between moves. They left earlier this week. Today, I spent the whole day reading and came downstairs to his parents leaving for dinner. A whole blissful, quiet day alone with my thoughts.

Ouch!! Building those calluses

I think crazy is another good adjective.

Working in a kitchen, I've seen some awful cuts and burns. I've also experienced some bad ones myself. No one has ever gone to the hospital even when told someone would drive them. Everyone just finishes their shift and then goes to get medical help. Hell, I spilled a sizzle platter of molten hot bone marrow on my

Aaaaah yes, a "clopen" is what I've always heard them called...

lol @ everyone being so serious! I think everyone was just WAITING for a post like this to jump on. Get better sarcasm radar folks!!! ;)

Yeah I think the whole having "someone special to kiss" on NYE is so hyped up. If you do something extra special for yourself that day it might help too. Even if it's just listening to your fave music and making cookies. I love being alone and cooking dinner while listening to NPR. Plus it keeps your mind occupied.

I've spent New Year's Eve alone and it wasn't that bad! I actually chose to stay home because I got out of work a little late and didn't want to meet up with all my drunk friends/battle traffic. I bought a bottle of champagne, wore a silly hat and watched the ball drop. It's really not that big of a deal unless you

I fought with my boyfriend because we are both stressed out and living in not ideal circumstances. We are both very fortunate to have great support in family and friends. It's just that some days just take the piss out of you. We fought, talked it out and then promised each other to try to ask "what's up?" more often

You should watch the documentary, "Fed Up" it really shows how American eating habits/diet fads are problematic. It also deals a lot with sugar addiction. Overall, you don't need to really eat LESS food, but just more healthy and non processed foods containing little sugar.

I feel like a lot of these responses pertain to having ONE child. My brother and sister each have four children. They, in my opinion (of course), are amazing parents. They look great at family functions and are well put together along with their spouses. BEHIND THE SCENES is a totally different animal. It's like a

This whole Shiloh thing has made me think about the phrase, "tomboy" and how it is silly.

Aaaaah, I've been so embarrassed that I love that stupid Selena Gomez song. Now it's stuck in my head again, thanks. It's always on repeat at the "wa-a-a-a-aaa-aa-aants" part which makes it extra irritating. Also, embarrassed is another word that is tricky.

Are you a troll?
