I was really enjoying playing Diablo 3 with a clan on Discord and was eagerly looking forward to playing D2: Resurrected because I have years in that game when it first came out.

I may not enjoy most of the films in which he appears, but I have always respected that he seems to commit 100% to the project.  That is highly admirable even though it often not laudible.

I’ve read several different descriptions of NFT’s and each time it doesn’t even take SCAM! until SCAM! SCAM! the end of the first sentence SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! that I can tell something is off.

“Flight” is tremendous. I’m so glad that my wife and I saw it in the theater. Of course, the crash sequence is stunning on the big screen, but the fact that the rest of the film deals with mostly quite and intimate scenes draws you in so deeply to the struggles of his character. You root for him SO hard right from the

My wife and I watched the special about a week ago and I was really excited. However, after about a half hour I noticed that I was not laughing very much and as the rest of the special played out I began to feel that this particular one was too much of a personal reaction to what people are saying about him instead of

I remember watching “The Way” when it came out on DVD and was really captivated by how subtle it was with the leisurely pace. It really allows the viewer time to get to know the characters instead of loudly announcing their alignment at the start. This allows you to make up your own mind so by the time the emotional

I LOVED Diablo 2 so much. I played it for two multi-year periods. I finally tried D3 about a year or two ago and quit after about 5 months because I didn’t like it. But sometimes, as with Fallout 3 and Fallout 4, my first impression was incorrect as both of those games turned out to be personal favorites and so I just

I’m right there with you. “Our Bodies, Ourselves” was a seminal book for me. I read and re-read that book in large part because female voices were absent in my youth and I yearned to know what lay beyond the borders of “my world.”

While my parents certainly had their share of challenges in their relationship before and after I came along, I’ve always been deeply grateful that they weren’t deeply religious or even very spiritual or whatever you want to call it. They were original hippies and I’m SO thankful that I was not indoctrinated with any

You could, like, never buy one.  EVER.

“Hedwing and the Angry Inch” has one of the greatest love songs ever written.

I would rather you listed “La Cage Aux Folles” instead of “The Birdcage.” The original French film is much better in many ways. I’ve heard the two sequels are pretty bad, but I loved the original.

You’d think with the frequency of this happening that they would, y’know, DO something about it. But no, Apple has pretty much the same credo as the mobsters from “Goodfellas.”

“F*ck you!  Pay me!”

I wish that I felt the same, but the moment the blimp burped out those biplanes piloted by Muntz’s dogs I was done.  For me, “Up” is a perfect example of story that should have remained as a short.  Nothing that happened after that opening could hold a candle to the emotional impact I felt.  It’s like the film started

It’s been more than a decade since a wholly original film was the biggest hit of its year.”

No.

“Avatar” is not a wholly original film in any way except the visual effects, and while those were stunning at the time, their impact fades quickly when you realize how derivative and problematic the story is and how most of

If Disney wanted to make obscene, deplorable and reprehensible amounts of money, then they would rotate one or two days a month where the admission price would be doubled, but the number of people allowed admission to the parks would be reduced by half.

I remember a very specific incident where this worked for me, and it was with the DVD release of “The Book of Eli” with Denzel Washington. The visual style of that film aggravated me greatly. It felt like they couldn’t decide if they wanted go black & white or color and instead did 50% of both.

“Much of my disappointment with Super Mario 3D World centers on the fact that Mario just doesn’t feel very spry. Even with the Switch version’s increased movement speeds, I never quite feel 100% in control of my characters”

You’re right, we don’t agree on much, but I am glad that we can both be civil about it!

I HATED those creatures. Rian Johnson can continue to claim to be a Star Wars fan, but every single decision that he made in TLJ felt overtly designed to tear down the tropes of the franchise with jokes and twists that were always at the expense of the characters and the narrative.
