I love watching Megan Rapinoe get excited about things. Anything, really. I want her to license a pocket-version clone of herself that can just hang out on my desk all day and get me pumped up for paperwork.

Megan Rapinoe was asked on ESPN to write down one word that described her personality and this what she wrote:

There were SO many little girls there in USWNT jerseys. Even the Atlantic Avenue subway stop was full of them, when we headed back to Brooklyn. So awesome to see.

The most watched soccer event ever in the US? Damn. Most outstanding.

OK I’ll just say it. Has anyone actually watched the video? It literally never shows them taking the flag down. So no Hillary, I will not Watch South Carolina’s Confederate Flag Get Taken Down, For Good!

I think it was good idea to do it with the honor guard. Because all those, “It’s heritage” people can now shut up about it. Look, the flag got its “proper burial” and is now being housed in a museum where it belongs. It’s no longer part of modern times. It’s official, it’s history. The ceremony sealed the deal.

Right there with you, as soon as I heard it was happening in broad daylight I knew this shit would be full of traitorous pomp and circumstance. Assholes.

It pisses me off that there’s a ceremony to take that shit down. Just take it down, put it in the museum, move on. The Confederacy was traitorous and they lost the war, you goddamned morons.
