Ugh. Pivot tables. My nemesis. People use them to try to “impress” their colleagues, but fail to understand what they mean and how to appropriately use them.

I feel like I have slipped into a parallel universe. Do you honestly think that the congestion that existed in the early 1900's is in any way comparable to that experienced in major cities today?
In the short term, would that be less expensive? Yes. But I don’t think this is intended to be a replacement for buses.
I love this video. My favorite is the Budget truck that gets the top peeled off like a tin can.
Nah, just put some spikes and line the shit out of the bottom.
1) a light rail would require more infrastructure
If you live in a real city, yeah, cars are the enemy. There simply is not enough real estate to move cars in and out and around. America needs to stop suckling at the teat of the auto industry and realize that, if they wish to avoid 3 hour commutes, they need to take a bus.
Yeah, the first few times, but then people would get used to it.
So... we are not going to move hundreds of thousands of people per day in a more economical fashion because people might jaywalk? Also, this is China. They seem to take a tougher stance on personal responsibility for doing dumb things like jaywalking (I jaywalk, and I acknowledge that it is a stupid, dumb thing to do).
OH MY GOD LIKE RUSSIAN NESTING DOLLS BUT FOR BUSES. I’m sorry, I just find that unbearably adorable to think about and it is now my new favorite thing.
Why couldn’t you operate more than one? Obvious difficulty would be the real estate needed to put in a bypass, but it would be no more difficult than running multiple trains. And many rail systems have elevated boarding structures.
I had the same experience with both cooking and writing. While I am quite good at both, I quickly began to despise both when I tried to make my living doing them.
My red wine vinegar is typically on the brown side. I also make my own red wine vinegar, so maybe the kind you use makes a difference?
I was imagining cutting them lengthwise and peeling them and was really confused!
I think it has to do with how close it is to the word “masticate”, and because macerating is a chemical version of mashing, maybe?
This is totally embarrassing. I used to be a professional cook, but I thought “macerate” meant to mash up, as with a potato masher, until I read this article.
It seems like all they offer these days is a pantry shipping coupon. :/
I believe he was talking about roasting green coffee beans.
I’ll sit back down in my rocker in a moment, but I think it’s pretty disrespectful to play games in a damn cemetery. I would be ticked as hell if I was there for a loved one and some kid ran around hunting pokemon crap.
Rarely known fact, manga artists do not actually have faces. This sad fact is the reason faces in manga always look either beautiful or bizarre —- the artist is reflecting their yearning and self-loathing in turns.
