No. The training is not similar. The certifications are not analogous. The potential for permanent damage is no where near the same.

I am saying that people who don’t plan for their medical expenses for their children when planning for their families are putting their kids at risk.
It comes back to the old saying, “if you can’t afford the vet, you can’t afford the pet.” Responsible parenthood is either waiting to have kids or arranging your finances so that you can meet their basic medical needs.
It’s called medical neglect in the US and is a sub-category of child neglect.
Chiropractics is 90% pseudoscience and 10% luck. I never understand why people hurt their back, then think a chiropractor is the first step towards healing. Have they never heard of physical therapy? You know, something based in actual science?
Who are all these wizards who can write in these tiny notebooks that flop closed while you are writing?? What is your sorcery?
But it does explain the random “kiss-attacks” in my life. ;)
Oh dear... I just realized I am guilty of “the triangle gaze” in all my conversations. I sometimes have a hard time understanding what people say, so I will flick my gaze between their eyes and their lips to pick up some lip reading cues... I wonder how many people thought I was thinking about going in for the kiss!…
“UNC’s Blatantly Fake Classes Were the Best Thing for Wanna-Be Athletes”
I had to double check to make sure this post was not an April-fools joke.
She wasn’t an athlete, was she.
It seems like this courtesy has gone out the window. I cannot remember the last time a flight attendant did anything other than say “okay” or “yes, everyone has connections” to a passenger letting them know they had a tight connection.
I find the whole thing so bloody irritating. There is always some joker who thinks its okay to get into the aisle, then fuss with their jacket, their bags, their hair, their neighbor’s hair... you get the picture. If your feet touch the aisle, grab your coat and your bag, and get the hell out of the way. You can put…
Has anyone tried out the new Pyrex baking pans with the holes in the handles? It looks like the seal is not perfect from the outside edge of the handle to the corner of the pan. I need to replace my old ones, but I’d hate to have something that underperforms in comparison to the “old standby” design of the lid…

Eeesh, I guess you’re trying out a new format? I think it needs a bit more tweaking. The size of the bubbles and spacing with the text does something to completely chop up the flow of the text.

Being TSA-compliant and actually getting to take the item on the plane are two verrrry different things. Good luck getting a modified pocket knife on the plane, regardless of what you do to it.
Dickmatized.
That was the crappy thing —- I also had statements that showed all bills paid! I think it was probably something to do with how each hospital has 49 thousand different billing centers, and they just messed up somewhere along the line and did not put those two accounts together. Of note, this is the place that…
Yeah, my comment was a remark on the status of education in the United States. Definitely did not originate in Judaism.
I rather think that is the point of not discussing it further. Because it is unsettling, and because things like that do get swept under the rug.
