Do you have O+? I get asked to donate all the time since I have universal donor blood. Last time I donated they asked if I’d do an apherisis donation where they remove the blood, separate the needed portions out, then put the unused portion back in. I agreed but the procedure almost made me pass out. It was horrible!

That's a horrifying thing for her to have said and for him to have heard! Was he old enough to understand? I hope he didn't internalize that damaging message.

I'm a guardian ad litem, too and agree that foster parents are angels. I'm working with one right now that does level one placements for teen boys with serious psychological problems. She's amazing.

I think it's great that you're considering being a foster parent. There are so many great kids who need foster parents and so few people willing or able to foster them. Particularly, few people consider fostering teens so most teens just languish in group homes wishing there were parents for them.

Your beloved wife dies at 85. Are you not sad? I'm certain you would be if you cared for her.

Planning a “career” in geogoly was his first mistake...

It just sounds like you’re in way over your head. You’re asking for tips on how to make the balance power favor you, but that makes me scared for you because with this guy I'm not sure that's possible. You sound like a young woman with a lot going for her. You’re smart, accomplished, and attractive. There are plenty

You've described and incredibly manipulative man. I doubt there's any way you can ever get the upper hand in this relationship. He's too practiced at this and way too good at saying just what you want to hear. My advice is to run!

Wow, you ARE an engineer, aren't you?

I love it that you named your cat Curt. My cat is named the most imaginative Little Kitty. Curt is so decisive.

Great news! He's the worst.

She's 45?!!

I enjoyed Vee because that actress was so good and so threatening.

I like Red, too but KM’s accent is AWFUL.

I can't speak to how good her NZ accent was myself but I'm glad to hear it was good. What I enjoyed was that while watching Top of the Lake I didn't even think about Peggy Olsen but thoroughly believed she was that detective. She's such a good actress. I saw her in some movie on Netflix and she was excellent in that

Aww, poor kitty was in pain!

I don't agree with that policy at all but it does happen that people choose to beg. My daughter met a group of kids who all lived together in a house and begged in groups to get drug money. Not saying that's most people who beg, though.

That seriously brought tears to my eyes.

That would be annoying not to be thanked but just remember that's not why you're doing it. Maybe the person is mentally ill and doesn't understand social conventions well or maybe they're just not used to being treated nicely.

There are ordinances against feeding the hungry in my town, too. The city rationalizes it by saying feeding the homeless creates situations where the homeless urinate and defecate on the street, which really doesn’t make any sense. If the homeless live there, they’re using the bathroom anyway. My church started a
