This is a great article, and I love Robin Wright and all that, but I really think we need to make sure that the beauty of “Geoduck-in-Chief” doesn’t get lost in the shuffle here...

nah, if it was a dead woman they’d just find a way to make it her fault. dead man in his bed, maybe.

There’s a triathlon in Boulder, CO that goes up into the foothills during the bike leg, and a while back someone hit a black bear on their road bike during a speedy descent. The bear was, understandably, scared shitless and ran off (presumably not badly hurt) and she had some road rash but actually finished the

oh god, Gerard Butler. The reason I didn’t turn off Phantom of the Opera in a musical-nerd rage 15 minutes in.

Am getting dangerously close to watching The Loft solely because of Karl Urban and this gif:

I had a pixie cut in high school and was gloriously spared the up-do pain. Instead I got some hair gel with an obscene amount of sparkles in it and went to town, because woooo 2001!

My cousin and I both have classical music backgrounds, and we’ve seriously talked about making some kind of “gateway guide” for folks who don’t know anything about classical but like film scores. People will so often say “I don’t like classical music” but then say “oh man, that music that’s playing when Obi-Wan fights

They STILL don’t have a womens’ 1500m swim in the Olympics - the longest womens’ pool distance is 800m. What makes it extra-weird is that there IS a womens’ “swim marathon”, which is a freaking 10K in open water. ???

This also explains why they preface all their canned BS responses to Womens Issues(TM) with “as a father/husband/brother/son”...
