I believe the New York team that Cowboys fans hate is the Giants, whom they see twice a year, and not the Jets, who are in the other conference and have been a laughingstock since time immemorial.

Huh, interesting. I live in NJ and have never heard Jets fans mention anything about the Cowboys. Though most of their chat is about being overshadowed by literally every other team in the area, so may have slipped by :)
