Every job has a base time it is expected to take. Lower ball joint? 2.2 hours. So regardless of how long I take, I get paid 2.2hrs at my wage. I take 4 hours? I get paid 2.2. I take 1 hour? I get paid 2.2.

Wouldn’t it be great though? 30/hr is super. And then be paid for half the time you were at work because warranty times are BS, you’re back at 15/hr. That’s why they are not asking for more hourly money, it’s not about the hourly rate.
