People don’t want EVs...they want cheap cars. Yeah they’ll take a $7500 discount if that means it’s electric, whatever. Until EVs can compete at the same price point as gas (which they currently can’t) you’ll still need credits to get them to move off dealer lots.

Not to mention the typical person that attends this event is also in some of the most vulnerable demographics: old, overweight, drinks way too much, etc.
