We made a fix so this shouldn’t happen anymore. You name need to delete the extra widget and reload. Hope its ok now!
We made a change to the UI so that instead of checking a separate website (i.e., ours), you can just see your entire list of outstanding #todo’s right in your calendar. You should see an all-day event called “ # YourName Todo List”. If you click on this to open, you’ll see all of your outstanding todo’s listed there.…
This works for Google Calendar’s that you have permissions/control to edit. Depending on what device you’re using (for example mobile), it may take some time for the client to update our system but you should eventually see the check box.
But we don’t move the incomplete #todo forward until midnight. Its not helpful to have a todo on a previous day that isn’t completed - just a high risk of completely losing track of this. We just make sure that after the day is finished, you don’t miss or forget to do something.
Also, in addition to automatically moving incomplete tasks forward and seeing the complete list, it works for recurring events (like pay rent) so that you’re reminded each month (or whatever time period) to get something done.
I think there are a lot of good to-do alternatives. Our approach was for users that didn’t want to have a separate app to check. Since many people are already using their calendar to manage their schedules and activities, we felt easier to have to-do functionality built right into the calendar. This way, you don’t…
Unfortunately, Tasks doesn’t work on mobile. With #todo, its part of Google Calendar so it will appear on any mobile client you already use.
