That is why I look to my needs. I did 2 or 3 road trips a year in the before times, with one or 2 quick stops (under 30 minutes fuel, bathroom, food). That is where ICE currently wins.
For me Tesla is not an option for many reasons.

Usually a cheapish Porsche is a run away moment. This one would make me pause a bit. Have a shop inspect it, know what I am getting into and go from there.

Good point. I go to Myrtle Beach often and salt spray is an issue.

While not a no, I am going for a WFH/Office combination. My work has said “WFH is playtime.” After a year we are saying, we seem to be very productive and can schedule a few days in the office as needed (labs, face to face time, etc). Just not 5 days as week.
Like all things. If done well, sure. Another way to access functions via muscle memory.
