1st gear - Lordstown concept is not a bad one, will hold on the execution of said plan. There is a movement to get the US to EV, they look at the top seller and say “Let’s do that as an EV.” If done well, the PU buyer make start looking at “Well if this works, what about other options?”

Don’t go to close to the pit:

That was really my point. We all make mistakes and one mistake didn’t make say “CarMax bad”. In fact I am look to them went replacing a vehicle.

The prices are insane on these things. While I wouldn’t pay 14.5k, it is in line with the prices I have seen.

What can I tell you - Truck value 7k, price at Carmax - 14k. I am not a rocket scientist but that is double price.

The 2x price was one time event but the fact it was a 7k truck selling for 14k (granted a model I wanted) made zero sense. I only called because it was a model I was looking at, but normally the prices are close.

The overhead is what I watch. Pay a couple hundred over the life a loan, not big deal.

I realized when was the last time you heard “pump the gas” when trying to get the thing started?

Some interesting choices there. The truck would good for a first shop vehicle. Or turn it into a RV?

There is a fine line between helpful and overloaded. I dread the day that in car ads are a thing.

Agree. My Parent’s Caddy had a rock chip/crack. Months and thousands of dollars later...

I hope they removed the sad “Sing Happy Birthday” to myself all alone thing. I imagined Curiosity crying into it’s wine and candle dinner with a picture of a cat near by.

With one 1969 truck and 1954 Chevy - foot space was not an issue. Even with the 3rd pedal.

In today’s world is a much slang a tommy rod or crank start. :)

Manual Choke

I would like to see more series like this, I used to like going to boneyards.

Just because you threw parts at it doesn’t make it more valuable.

Looks like a Scion shrunk in the wash. :)

Still looks like go home, you’re drunk. :)

Good point and appreciate the pun. I wonder if there are any writers here could weight on on this most important issue and their experiences with Bugs and outgassing.
