Manual check.
Manual check.
I know this is a level of money I will not see. That being said,I don’t hate it. If someone threw the fob at me I would drive it.
For me it was the Escort. I had a GT version with it’s 1.8L DOHC 5 spd.
That would be an interesting meeting. Maybe the team can do a video for us? :)
That is true, at the end of a day it is $2400. You cannot expect it to perfect.
I will admit this cold hearted SOB was looking for who was cutting onions in the room. This thing is awesome.
What does a PPI cost? This is a sub 3k car, which is now the entry for a something that runs (kind of). Is it worth a PPI for car this cheap?
Neutral:
For 2500 it is worth a shot. Sure some interior issues but this the new “$500" college car.
No worries. I have seen people do that just because it is a “free”. Entitled folks are everywhere.
I like it. Loophole it in Vermont :)
Ouch. :)
For a “Bitter Old Dude” you have the ability to see through others eyes. I think we are in general agreement that change will come, we need to get ready for it, and have what needs to change. Now to make it happen.
It is not paranoia. I have had people help themselves to my grill, shed, mower, and in one case my car because they wanted it. Got the car back a bit worse for wear.
Hear what you want. This is my view and my issues to solve. I am not advocating stopping EVs because what I need to do, I have to take responsibility to change when I have the means. Can’t be much more grown up that that, personal responsibility been awhile since that has been a thing.
I am saying it is a solvable problem. And yes I have a packed schedule.
Yes. I have seen it happen with electricity (outdoor outlets), water, you name it. While the charger is private, unless I secure it/lock it what is stop someone from plugging it?
For me the main barrier is infrastructure. Once I have the ability to add my own charging station, I am open to the option.
Mine has the “limo option” which means no center console. I can shift during long trips. Have taken it up and down the East Coast a few times.
Not problems with FWD here. :)
