I like it as it going back to truck roots. Haul stuff, just enough for comfort, noisy. Too bad we will not see one.

That depends. Since I use a truck to well haul big stuff, then a long bed is preferred. If a pickup bed cannot hold plywood, then it is not meant to be a truck bed rather an open trunk.

That is the going rate for a pickup and with the modest changes it would be a good hauler.
