Neutral - Hard to say. If they are going for the “Have money to sink into an EV and it’s accessories” then Caddy makes sense. I know there are charging stations out there, but really an EV would be useful as a “drive home, plug in, charge, drive later” at home. Not everyone has the means to setup a home charging

The car itself is not bad. For the age and mileage is has few expected issues.

I like it and appears to be well done. With that being said, I wouldn’t drop 63k on it.

I was going to say, I heard people talking about a new motorized conveyance. Would this be it?

Neutral - Summarizing the answers in the other threads. Good first year, wait for year 2 or 3 before considering.

Based on the general theme in all of the gears, it looks like someone pissed in his Cheerios :)

Granted I would wait at least for one model year before buying, but I see a start.

The price is right if you know what you are getting. This is not buy it, drive it, never fix it. Which is what most will become.

I did the roof, which required clearing the overgrowth. “Oh the rear stairs look like that. And while I at it the front stairs”. The windows and doors are next, which lead to “Need new window treatments” followed by “Wow that floor looks like crap, should replace it.”

I know it is a concept. Also overpowered, overdone, and way beyond what I would need. Doesn’t mean I don’t want one.

Neutral - Doing well. Focusing on home and lawn repairs. It may not look it but I have sunk a lot of time and money into my largest tangible asset. Now that I am home most of the time, I see what needs to be repaired. As I fix it, the next item lines up.

To me is comes down to what you feel comfortable putting your kid in.

I remember the days of laying in the back seat, sudden stop, floor boards. I made it through fine.........

Reminds me of my first truck, no frills 69 F-100 Ranger (people got confused over the name in the 90s). 390 V8 that would haul anything but ass on the highway.

I am going to go with Jason on this one. The older cars you mention are not deathtraps after all and given the aftermath of accidents, I would agree. My daughter rides in my 10 year old DTS and a 22 year old z28, I have no problem in either one.

I used one of these to storage a car for a season. They are under $200 a Harbor Freight.

Neutral - See image. Sure having to stop every few feet and pull the cord again would be a pain. The sparks though.....

Having bought a “clean” accident car before, I will follow the Advice of King Arthur and the Holy Grail -> RUN AWAY!

I was waiting for and dreading this as the same time. Take yer star.
