I hit NP as I like it. My finance manager saw the article, said “Nice, doesn’t look like a 2004 and by the way NO!”

Are sure that isn’t the pee of excitement teased in the article yesterday?
The key is the dog. Most rental/zip car, etc are not happy about animals in the car.
“as I pee a little bit from exertion as we lift 800 pounds of Changli into that truck. I can’t wait to show you everything.” I think I speak for many when I say I don’t need to see that.
Going through the pearly gates backwards on fire is the only way to arrive.
The car looks like it is laughing at it’s own price.
Bruce Blueblood “Yueesss, see this model ? I have one mine parked next to my yacht.”
It comes down to personal choice. You have stupid level money and want a model of your car - go for it.
The market is driving this one. A few years ago you could pick up a fleet of these for 4k. Now this is right in line.
1st gear. Not a bad concept on paper. Other lines have tried this, however it ends up with them competing with each other. Remember when GMC was the no-frills workhorse and Chevy was the everyday truck with comfort options? Now with the exception of the badges, they are the same vehicle. In fact the higher end GMCs…
Look at the target audience. I have bought models of cars I have owned, granted for under $20.
I remember when I had a Futaba for a while. I ended up working on it more than my real car.
My mind is confused and cannot make sense of the image. I want one.
Neutral - Doing well. Going to the gas station out of habit. Getting supplies for a deep clean on the fleet. Convincing myself from buying a car just because I can.
A brown manual car comes on for under 3k and people still complain? What do you want a perfectly preserved high dollar concourse queen that craps a gold brick every morning for that money?
It’s odd, needs a dash fix if you want. Still it does run and is drop top. May not be my thing but not horrid.
Neutral - There is a interesting dynamic going on at my place of business, which is technology and mostly computer work. The CEO is “don’t rush, stay safe, WFH as long as you can, we have done it for weeks and we can do more”. Some direct managers are getting the “I can’t see you therefore you are not working vibe”…
Beyond it’s cosmetic flaws, it looks to be a good third/fun car. An overnighter or pack really light car. If I were in the market, I would give this one consideration.
I know the Gas cap is not the issue, other spend the short money and fix it. Asking top dollar with a known issue, CP. Plus many vehicles of that age have a separate light for the gas cap issue.
I kind of like these. Looks like Shriner’s going to the next level.
