That is my expectation. I could be surprised though. If I ever did this, I would follow up. Even if I went my own way.

True. You can always find other options. For what this presented as, I call it a good choice and NP.
Welcome to the party. Beyond the expected get someone to fix the dern comments, there is a lot of gold here and more to find.
Cue Benny Hill music aka Yakety Sax.
I think I would have gotten 5 of them, a record!
Interesting and I know off roaders do this as well. Hose to clean interior :)
Same reasons I voted NP. Dead simple, useful, add a spray bedliner and you have a nice weekend chore runner.
That is just as hit or miss. I tried all of that that, then a ritual of connection, I also tried turning it off and on again.
I try that as well. Pretty much I just mash buttons until it starts to work. Which is my approach to fixing cars, explains why local garage likes me.

*refresh finally shows comments, lost count this time* Glad you and the kid are ok.
*refreshes page 86745897895 times to get comments* I like these beasts and want to seem them come back as alternatives to SUVs. I don’t like it at 8500, we are not even in worth a look/offer stage.

Normally I would run in fear of Minivans. Though the condition and story make me stop a moment and consider this one.

Nissan is the beige of the car world. Functional, does it’s job, not to expensive, and has the features you want. Sure it is not an exciting thrill a minute ride, sometimes you don’t need that. You just need a vehicle that works with no fuss.
Going with a heart based NP on this one. It is odd, small, and only useful for cruising around town. To me this is a “I want the fun of a donorcycle with a lesser chance of injury” option.
Neutral - Before all this SHTF, my plan was to wait until 2021 before getting a replacement. As of last month, both of my cars are paid off leaving my wife’s lease.
If your plan is to drive to enjoy, go with the new motor. Keep the old one aside for when you want to rebuild it. Or sell it to offset the cost.
“Though if I was a performer (who says I’m not?), I think PPE would be my daily uniform.” - filing this away for a future nightmare. :)
