From the sound of it, they’re talking about a tv movie.  Much lower stakes/financials involved.

I actually just read that the original ending had it pop up as a mobile game at the school when they got back.

The Hollywood Reporter’s Borys Kit reports the Flash solo film will not be titled Flashpoint, after all—but the film will allegedly still be loosely adapting the Flashpoint storyline.

I always list New Nightmare alongside the original and Dream Warriors as my favorites.

Cena as Shazam? They’ll save on the marketing costs since there’s already a face off poster between him and Black Adam.

I say you have a definitive winner...or DO YOU? Hear me out, Godzilla wins, with the battle ending off the shore in the ocean. Then he emerges from the water, carrying Kong’s head...but then Kong winks at the camera!

I was indifferent towards Iron Fist in the end. It was just kind of there for me. My star of your post is strictly for “And Peggy.” Fantastic.

Came to say this.

It’s a remake of a film remake of a stage production musical version of a movie...

You had me at Zabka as Torch.

My then four year old daughter discovered this line before I did last year sometime. I was flipping through the channels and CN had one of their feature lengths on and she told me how much she loved them, so we watched it. It evolved from there into last Christmas being dominated by Supergirl stuff for her, and has

And thankfully, he does it without all the drama that seems normal for Hollywierd these days.

Did I miss a memo from Hollywood that this year is the year of franchise films where the leader of the heroes mysteriously helps the villains? Fate of the Furious, Transformers...who’s next?

I do believe it’s a Hamilton reference. The Schuyler Sisters has the three of them introducing themselves by name, with the youngest chiming in “And Peggy.” That’s really the extent of her character while the other two are major figures in the show (and Hamilton’s life.)

The Vulture turns villain when a new government-funded cleanup crew spearheaded by Tony Stark—which sounds like it could have something to do with Damage Control from the comics, a team with a similar premise

The episode totally earned that moment, mind, because Grant Gustin blew the proverbial socks off me with his solo song (penned by La La Land’s Benj Pasek and Justin Paul)

I don’t watch either show, mainly out of a lack of free time for tv watching, but I keep an eye on them from the periphery. That said, I will DVR the shit out of this one.

I would argue that musical episodes as a “fad” is actually in the past. I can’t think of one that’s done one in a while, post Buffy, Scrubs, etc. In this case, you’ve filled your casts with Glee and Broadway alum, so fans started calling for it. The folks behind the shows said “Yeah, that would be fun” and came up

I wouldn’t sweat the characterization too much... from a story perspective it implies that this character might be the one who de-monsters the monsters or that an evil unethical greedy peer is also in the story.

I’m still putting money on Rita being a former Green Ranger once upon a time. Compare her outfit to the Rangers’ suits. They defeat her, strip her of the Green Ranger, post credit stinger of the new kid Tommy...
